Filter bypass via special-character request
Published May 12, 2025 · Updated May 12, 2025
Filter bypass in Radware Cloud Web Application Firewall before 2025-05-07 allows remote attackers to deliver malicious requests. Its request-validation logic fails to filter an HTTP request containing a special character, so the request and its payload pass through to the protected web application. No authentication or user interaction is required, but further impact depends on a malicious payload reaching and exploiting the underlying application.
