Unauthorized service access via unauthenticated agent relay
Published Mar 27, 2025 · Updated Sep 1, 2025
Missing authentication in IBM DevOps Deploy 8.0 through 8.0.1.5 and 8.1 through 8.1.0.1 allows remote attackers to access other services. The Agent Relay service accepts requests for critical functions without authenticating the requester; IBM has not disclosed a narrower endpoint or code path. The adjacent-network path requires no prior authentication or user interaction and exposes sensitive data or permits actions against relay-accessible services.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=7.1 <=7.1.2.22
- Affected versionversion=7.2 <=7.2.3.15
- Affected versionversion=7.3 <=7.3.2.10
- Affected versionversion=8.0 <=8.0.1.5
- Affected versionversion=8.1 <=8.1.0.1
