Stored XSS via unescaped header size attribute
Published Jun 11, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in Futurio Extra 2.0.5 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through the Advanced Text Block widget. The widget renders its attacker-controlled header_size attribute into a heading tag without sufficient input sanitization or output escaping. Contributor-level access is sufficient, and the stored script executes in the browser whenever a user opens the injected page.
