Arbitrary browser script execution via unsanitized quantity
Published Jan 3, 2025 · Updated May 20, 2025
Reflected XSS in PHPOffice PhpSpreadsheet allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript in a user's browser through a crafted POST request. Convert-Online.php reads the POST quantity field and writes it into the HTML response without validating it as numeric, allowing injected markup to become executable browser content. Exploitation requires the sample script to be web-accessible and a user to visit an attacker-controlled page that submits the form.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
