Stored XSS in survey metadata in Vanderbilt University REDCap 14.9.6 allows remote authenticated users to run web scripts. The application stores crafted markup in the Survey Title or Survey Instructions fields and renders it throughout the survey without neutralizing executable script content. A project user must create the survey, and a recipient must open it and click on the page; script execution occurs in that recipient's browser context.
