Stored XSS in the REDCap 14.9.6 messenger allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts when a recipient opens a crafted message. The messenger stores attacker-supplied script content from the message field and renders it in the recipient's view without neutralization. A normal user account and recipient interaction are required; successful exploitation exposes data available to the recipient's browser session.
