Subscriber-level arbitrary file deletion via path traversal
Published Jun 7, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Path traversal in Market Exporter 2.0.19 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to delete arbitrary server files. The remove_files function applies a requested file path to deletion without a capability check or restriction to an intended directory. Subscriber-level access is sufficient, and deletion of files writable by the server process can cause data loss or interrupt the WordPress site.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
