Cross-project disclosure via overprivileged build credentials
Published Dec 20, 2024 · Updated Dec 20, 2024
Incorrect authorization in JetBrains TeamCity before 2024.12 allows remote authenticated users to view projects outside their permissions. Build-level authentication parameters are accepted for project access without enforcing the credential holder's authorized project scope. The user must hold the View build configuration settings permission; impact is limited to reading otherwise unauthorized project data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
