Unauthenticated root command execution via trusted hostname

Command injection in IBM AIX 7.2 and 7.3 nimesis allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands on the NIM master. The service accepts plaintext requests on TCP port 1058, trusts a claimed valid NIM client hostname, and executes supplied commands as root without checks or restrictions. Exploitation requires network access to the master port, knowledge of a connected client's hostname, and a return connection from the server; compromise can extend to connected clients.
