Credential disclosure via authenticated Web UI script injection
Published Apr 2, 2025 · Updated Aug 15, 2025
Cross-site scripting in IBM Content Navigator 3.0.11, 3.0.15, and 3.1.0 allows remote authenticated users to inject JavaScript into the Web UI. IBM has not disclosed the affected Web UI field, request handler, or missing output-encoding operation that permits the script to be stored or rendered. Exploitation requires an authenticated user to plant the script and another user to view the affected interface, exposing credentials or altering actions within that trusted browser session.
