Authenticated PHP execution via unfiltered export extension
Published Jan 7, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Code injection in Smackcoders WP Ultimate Exporter 2.9.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute PHP on the server. The parseData function accepts an unfiltered exp_type request value, and proceedExport uses it as the extension passed to file_put_contents for exported post data. Administrator access and the required WP Ultimate CSV Importer add-on are needed to create and request the resulting PHP file.
