Stored XSS via undisclosed rendering flaw
Published Dec 31, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Stored XSS in Andy Fragen Embed PDF Viewer 2.3.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts via page content. Patchstack identifies Editor privileges and a victim action, but the public CNA record and advisory do not disclose the affected field, rendering function, or missing sanitization or escaping operation. Injected scripts execute when visitors open a crafted page, exposing that page's browser context to the editor-level attacker.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
