Script execution via reflected Shift Logbook input
Published Aug 29, 2024 · Updated Aug 29, 2024
Reflected XSS in B&R APROL R 4.4-00P3 and earlier allows remote attackers to run script code via a crafted hyperlink. The Shift Logbook web-page generation path incorporates attacker-controlled input without properly neutralizing it for HTML output. Exploitation requires a user with access to the affected node to click the link, after which the script runs in that user's browser session.
