Remote information disclosure via unchecked modem message bounds
Published Sep 4, 2025 · Updated Sep 8, 2025
Out-of-bounds read in the Pixel modem component of Google Cloud Android kernel allows remote authenticated users to disclose memory. SAEMM_DiscloseMsId in SAEMM_RadioMessageCodec.c reads beyond the intended buffer because it processes radio-message data without a required bounds check. Exploitation requires post-authentication network access, needs no user interaction, and exposes memory without reported integrity or availability impact.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
