CVE-2024-56187

TEE memory disclosure via faulty access denial

Published Mar 10, 2025 · Updated Mar 11, 2025

Out-of-bounds read in Android kernel LDFW allows local users with System privileges to disclose TEE memory without user interaction. A logic error in ppcfw_deny_sec_dram_access in ppcfw.c permits an arbitrary read from TEE memory rather than denying the access. Exploitation requires code executing with System privileges on an affected Pixel device; it exposes protected memory but requires no user interaction.
