Unpublished post disclosure via posts-list AJAX handler
Published Jul 27, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Sensitive information exposure in Piotnet Addons For Elementor 2.4.29 and earlier allows remote attackers to read unpublished post metadata. The unauthenticated pafe_posts_list AJAX handler returns titles and excerpts for future, draft, and pending posts instead of restricting results to published content. Any network client that can reach the WordPress AJAX endpoint can retrieve those fields without an account; no write or service-interruption impact is reported.
