Administrator account creation via cross-site request forgery
Published Dec 18, 2024 · Updated Dec 31, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in Amiro.CMS before 7.8.4 allows remote attackers to create an administrator account through a crafted request. Public records do not identify the account-creation endpoint or disclose which request-origin or anti-CSRF validation is absent. Exploitation requires an authenticated privileged user to submit an attacker-controlled request, after which the new account receives administrative access.
