Unauthenticated object injection via crafted favorites cookie
Published Dec 18, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
PHP object injection in Gueststream VRPConnector 2.0.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject objects via an HTTP cookie. The plugin deserializes attacker-controlled object data supplied through the vrpFavorites cookie without rejecting PHP objects. No authentication or user interaction is required, but code execution, file deletion, or data access requires a usable POP chain from another installed component.
