Unauthenticated code execution via unchecked file upload
Published Dec 31, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Arbitrary file upload in VibeThemes WPLMS 1.9.9 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute PHP code through a crafted upload. The wplms_form_uploader_plupload function accepts an attacker-controlled filename and writes uploaded bytes into a web-accessible directory without validating the file type. The unauthenticated AJAX action exposes the function, enabling a PHP web shell to execute with the web server's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
