CVE-2024-5598Network attack vector

Unauthenticated trash-file disclosure via exposed directory listing

Published Jun 29, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026

Sensitive information exposure in Advanced File Manager 5.2.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to read files from its Trash folder. The fma_local_file_system handler exposes a directory listing for the built-in Trash folder, making moved backups and other sensitive files retrievable without authentication. Only files moved into that folder are exposed; the published impact is read-only disclosure rather than file modification or service interruption.
