Indexed-item deletion via state-changing GET requests
Published Jan 14, 2025 · Updated Jan 15, 2025
CSRF in affected TYPO3 CMS Indexed Search versions allows remote attackers to delete indexed-search items through a malicious link. AdministrationController accepted deleteIndexedItem actions over HTTP GET without enforcing POST, so a backend deep link could execute in the victim session. Exploitation requires an active backend session and either opening the crafted link or weakened referrer and SameSite settings on a manipulated site.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
