Dashboard manipulation via GET-based state changes
Published Jan 14, 2025 · Updated Jan 15, 2025
Cross-site request forgery in TYPO3 CMS Dashboard Module before 10.4.48, 11.5.42, 12.4.25, or 13.4.3 allows attackers to alter dashboard settings. DashboardController state-changing actions accepted query-string input over GET without asserting POST, including set-active, add, delete, and widget operations. Exploitation requires an active backend session and malicious-link interaction; cross-site delivery also requires disabled referrer enforcement and a SameSite setting of lax or none.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
