Administrator credential disclosure via unsanitized Mid parameter
Published Jun 3, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
SQL injection in Netentsec NS-ASG Application Security Gateway 6.3 allows remote authenticated users to read administrator credentials. The delete action in /admin/config_MT.php embeds the Mid request parameter in a database query without neutralizing SQL syntax; the published payload queries the Admin table through extractvalue. Access to the administrative endpoint is required, and successful exploitation discloses stored administrator names and password values.
