Unauthenticated configuration disclosure via direct file request
Published Jun 2, 2024 · Updated Aug 20, 2024
Improper file access in Casdoor 1.335.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to read conf/app.conf through an HTTP request. The HTTP handler returns the deployment configuration file for a direct /conf/app.conf request instead of denying public access. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the disclosed file can reveal database connection settings and other deployment secrets.
