Authenticated PHP code execution via blockLayout inclusion
Published Jun 19, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Local file inclusion in CodeVibrant WP Magazine Modules Lite 1.1.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute PHP code. The blockLayout parameter selects a server-side PHP file for inclusion without restricting the resolved path to an approved template. Contributor-level access is required, and code execution also depends on placing an attacker-controlled file on the server; inclusion can expose local data or bypass access controls.
