Database disclosure and modification via unsanitized sort

HQL injection in XWiki Platform allows remote attackers to read or alter database data through a crafted sort parameter. The getdocuments.vm template incorporates request.sort into the HQL ordering fragment without first restricting it to valid field names. No prior authentication is required; database-backend escape behavior determines whether exploitation exposes password hashes or permits UPDATE, INSERT, and DELETE operations.
