Link-following privilege escalation in Trend Micro Apex One before build 13140 allows local users to gain elevated privileges on Windows. Trend Micro identifies the vulnerable locus only as the Security Agent and describes link following, without disclosing the affected file, function, or privileged operation. The same flaw affects Apex One as a Service agent versions before 14.0.14203, and exploitation requires existing low-privileged code execution.
