Web-interface interruption via out-of-bounds request read
Published Jun 12, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in Schneider Electric SAGE RTU firmware through C3414-500-S02K5_P8 allows remote attackers to interrupt the web interface. The web interface reads past a buffer boundary while processing a specially crafted HTTP request, but Schneider Electric has not disclosed the affected function or request field. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the documented consequence is limited to loss of web-interface availability.
