Stack-based buffer overflow in The Dimensional Gate Linux Ratfor 1.06 and earlier allows attackers to execute code via a crafted source file. The developer and JPCERT/CC have not disclosed the affected parser routine or the unsafe operation that overruns its stack buffer. Exploitation requires a user to process attacker-supplied Ratfor source, after which code runs in that user's context and can read or alter data or interrupt the environment.
