Denial of service in the UL2 component of Samsung Exynos processors and modems allows remote attackers to interrupt service with malformed MM packets. The UL2 packet-processing path omits a required NULL check before using data produced while processing a malformed mobility-management packet. No authentication or user interaction is required; Samsung does not disclose whether the interruption involves a crash, hang, reboot, or another failure mode.
