Cross-site scripting via executable portlet content
Published Dec 16, 2024 · Updated Dec 17, 2024
Cross-site scripting in user-defined portlets in Intrexx Portal Server before 12.0.2 allows remote authenticated users to run browser scripts. The portlet renderer treats user-supplied content as executable HTML and JavaScript instead of removing script code. Exploitation requires permission to create or modify a portlet and another user to view it, exposing that user's browser-session data and page actions.
