Administrative local file read via reportName traversal
Published Dec 10, 2024 · Updated Aug 4, 2026
Path traversal in Mitel MiCollab 9.8.1.201 and earlier allows remote authenticated users with administrative access to read local files. The ReconcileWizard downloadReport operation uses an unsanitized reportName value as a filesystem path, so ../ sequences escape the reports directory. Administrative credentials are normally required; the read is limited to files available at that privilege level and does not permit modification or privilege escalation.
