Stored XSS via unescaped social link titles
Published Jul 18, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in BdThemes Element Pack 5.6.5 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts via social link titles. The Member widget accepts the social-link-title setting and renders the stored value into page output without sufficient sanitization or escaping. Contributor-level access is required to save a payload, which executes in a visitor's browser whenever the affected page is opened.
