CVE-2024-55505Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated ticket disclosure via unchecked identifier

Published Dec 18, 2024 · Updated Apr 4, 2025

Authorization bypass in CodeAstro Complaint Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to view other engineers' complaint tickets. The message-view.php endpoint accepts an attacker-controlled id parameter and returns the corresponding ticket without verifying its engineer assignment. An engineer account, which the application permits users to create, is sufficient to disclose sensitive complaint information assigned by an administrator.
