Authenticated database access via global-search SQL injection
Published Aug 28, 2024 · Updated Aug 28, 2024
SQL injection in ManageEngine Password Manager Pro before 12431 and PAM360 before 7001 allows remote authenticated users to read database entries. The global search option passes attacker-controlled request input into database queries without sufficient neutralization; ManageEngine has not disclosed the affected handler or parameter. A valid account and a crafted global-search request are required, and dual encryption keeps stored passwords inaccessible despite broader table access.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
