Database disclosure via unprepared shortcode gallery query
Published Jun 12, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
SQL injection in Tribulant Software Slideshow Gallery LITE 1.8.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read database data. The shortcode gallery path passes the user-controlled id parameter into an existing SQL query without sufficient escaping or prepared-query binding. Contributor-level access is required, and time-based appended queries expose sensitive information without direct data modification.
