Authenticated SQL injection via unsanitized search input
Published Feb 17, 2026 · Updated Feb 17, 2026
SQL injection in phpgurukul Student Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL via searchdata. The admin/search.php search handler incorporates the POST searchdata value into a database query without adequate input sanitization, allowing injected SQL syntax to change the query. A valid session with access to the administrative search page is required; exploitation can read, alter, or delete application database data.
