Stored script execution via unsanitized tooltip title
Published Jan 27, 2025 · Updated Feb 19, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in Dolibarr 21.0.0-beta allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript via an event Title. The Events/Agenda path stores Title input processed by GETPOST with restricthtml, passes it through getNomURL from note_private, and embeds it in a tooltip title attribute without sufficient sanitization. A victim must hover over the affected event, after which the script runs in that victim's browser session and can read or modify data available to that account.
