Unauthenticated configuration changes via trusted LoginStatus cookie

Published Apr 17, 2025 · Updated Apr 17, 2025

Authentication bypass in Think Technology Tk-Rt-Wr135G firmware 3.0.2-X000 allows remote attackers to alter settings via a crafted cookie. The web management interface treats a client-controlled LoginStatus cookie value of true as proof of an authenticated session without validating its integrity. Access to the router management interface is required; successful exploitation grants configuration control, including DNS and firmware settings.
