Stored script execution via unencoded profile name
Published Dec 16, 2024 · Updated Dec 17, 2024
Stored XSS in PHPGurukul Online Nurse Hiring System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to run scripts through a crafted profile name. /admin/profile.php stores the fullname parameter without adequate validation or output encoding, then renders the injected SVG event handler. An administrator session is required to submit the profile update, and another page view executes the stored script in that viewer's browser.
