Code execution via traversing upload filename
Published Jan 3, 2025 · Updated Jan 3, 2025
Arbitrary file upload in WukongCRM-11.0-JAVA 11.3.3 allows remote attackers to execute code through a crafted avatar filename. The /adminUser/updateImg handler passes the multipart filename to LocalFileServiceImpl, which concatenates it into a local path without traversal validation before writing the uploaded bytes. The public proof supplies an admin token and user ID, but CISA's assessment treats the endpoint as unauthenticated; successful traversal can overwrite server files.
