Authenticated certificate disclosure via unchecked viewid ownership
Published Dec 17, 2024 · Updated Dec 18, 2024
IDOR in PHPGurukul Online Birth Certificate System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read other users' birth certificate details. The /user/view-application-detail.php handler accepts the viewid URL parameter and returns the referenced application without verifying ownership by the requesting account. Any authenticated account can substitute another identifier; the documented effect is disclosure of another user's sensitive certificate data, with no integrity or availability impact.
