MAVOBC task stack overflow via undersized stack
Published May 13, 2026 · Updated May 13, 2026
Stack overflow in Firmament-Autopilot FMT-Firmware commit de5aec allows remote attackers to overflow the MAVOBC task stack. The task descriptor in src/task/comm/task_comm.c reserves 4,096 bytes, but the measured task_mavobc_entry call chain consumes 4,400 bytes. The mismatch is documented for the default AMOV ICF5 build; the report identifies no runtime trigger, code execution, or concrete service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
