Browser script execution via reflected WCU parameter
Published Mar 19, 2025 · Updated Mar 24, 2025
Reflected XSS in Datax AutoBib 3.1.140 and earlier allows remote attackers to run JavaScript in a victim's browser via a crafted URL. The page handling WCE=topFrame&WCU reflects the attacker-controlled WCU value into its response without neutralizing script content. No authentication is required, but a victim must open the crafted link; script execution remains within the AutoBib origin in that browser.
