Authentication bypass in Quectel BC25 firmware BC25PAR01A06 allows attackers to bypass authentication with a crafted NAS message. The public CVE record does not disclose the NAS message type, parsing locus, or failed validation operation. Reachability requires delivery of NAS signaling to the modem, and Quectel disputes attribution because it considers the issue part of the chipset supply chain.
