Stored script execution via unneutralized message rendering
Published Dec 9, 2024 · Updated Dec 10, 2024
Stored XSS in Kashipara E-learning Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through crafted messages. send_message.php accepts my_message content and stores it for later display without neutralizing executable markup. A low-privileged sender must submit the payload and a recipient must view the stored teacher message; the script then runs in that recipient's application origin and can read or change page data available to the session.
