Browser script execution via stored avatar filename
Published Dec 9, 2024 · Updated Dec 10, 2024
Stored XSS in kashipara E-learning Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to run scripts via avatar filenames. The teacher_avatar.php upload path stores a crafted filename that is later rendered without neutralizing embedded script content. Exploitation requires low-privileged access and a second user to view the affected avatar, causing code to run in that viewer's browser context.
