Authenticated file disclosure via unchecked download path
Published Feb 6, 2025 · Updated Feb 12, 2025
Path traversal in GoldPanKit eva-server 4.1.0 allows remote authenticated users to download arbitrary server files via the local download API. LocalFileAccessController appends the unvalidated path value to the configured local-file directory before creating a Java File object. A valid login is required, and successful traversal exposes any file readable by the server process without altering or deleting it.
