Authenticated OS command execution via setRptPIN injection
Published Dec 26, 2024 · Updated Dec 26, 2024
OS command injection in TOTOLINK A3002R firmware 4.0.0-B20230531.1404 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands. The /bin/boa formWsc handler accepts shell metacharacters in setRptPIN and incorporates the value into shell command execution without neutralization. A valid management session is required; successful injection runs commands with the router service's privileges and permits full device compromise.
