CVE-2024-54819Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated internal service access via zero-hostname bypass

Published Jan 7, 2025 · Updated Mar 17, 2026

Server-side request forgery in the Librarian PDF manager 5.11.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to reach internal services. The ssrfLink validator resolves a submitted remote_url host with gethostbyname(), converts 0 to numeric zero, and fails to reject the address as loopback. A user or administrator account, a CSRF token, and an editable PDF identifier are required; the server then sends the crafted HTTP request to a chosen internal port or endpoint.
